However, perfectionism is not necessarily a virtue, and it can influence the way we manage our lives and interactions. Actress Michelle Pfeiffer sees herself as a perfectionist, but she admits that she may go mad, along with other individuals. But she realizes why being a perfectionist is bad and this is one of the reasons for her actions.

But another artist famous (and often condemned) for her perfectionism warns Barbra Streisand that we must accept the imperfections in ourselves and others. She points out that it is part of the beauty of life that nothing can be ideal.
